Submissions
Winterlake Press is currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts and artwork. Original work should be for the pre-school to young adult audience, and may be either fiction or non-fiction.
To submit an unsolicited Picture Book Manuscript, please send the complete picture book text.
To submit an unsolicited Novel Manuscript, please send a query letter, synopsis and three sample chapters.
To submit Artwork, please send copies of full-color samples or black & white line work. All submissions should be sent by mail to:

No submissions will be returned unless requested. A self-addressed, stamped envelope or postcard must be included, or there will be no reply or returned submission. We will contact you by mail if we wish to follow up on your picture book manuscript, request your complete novel manuscript, or schedule a portfolio review. Please allow 12 weeks for a response.
